MIO-ECSDE & MEdIES at the pan-European Researchers’ Night 2013

MIO-ECSDE at the European Maritime Day: Tourism and Biodiversity – Opportunities and Threats
Within the framework of the European Maritime Day 2013, the MIO-ECSDE in cooperation with the EU funded Horizon 2020 Capacity Building/Mediterranean Environment Programme and the MedPartnership organized a panel discussion on the opportunities but also the threats of sustainable tourism and ecotourism development in the Mediterranean.

More than two hundred European policymakers, scientists and representatives from civil society and industry met in Berlin from 10-12 of April 2013 to debate on ways to combat marine litter in the European regional seas.
