Call for offers for developing a scoping report and terms of reference for an integrated management plan
Global Water Partnership–Mediterranean (GWP – Med), legally and lawfully represented by MIO-ECSDE, is seeking external expertise for the development of a ‘Scoping report of the Awali Basin and Coastal Area and ToRs for their Integrated Management Plan’, within the framework of the UNEP/MAP GEF Strategic Partnership for the Mediterranean Large Marine Ecosystem (MedPartnership) programme.
Gafsa Oasis: protecting our agricultural heritage
The Chairman of MIO-ECSDE Prof. Michael Scoullos goes to Gafsa, Tunisia, in support of an EU funded project dedicated to the historical Gafsa oasis (certified by the FAO in 2011 as a Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System-GIAHS).
e-Course on marine litter big success!
MEdIES/MIO-ECSDE completed an e-Course based on the English version of the MARLISCO educational material entitled Know, Feel, Act! to Stop Marine Litter: Lesson Plans and activities for middle level students.
