The Sustainable/Green University in a time of crisis
The Mediterranean Office for Environment, Culture and Sustainable Development in cooperation with the University of Athens, the Hellenic National Commission for UNESCO and the Network of Mediterranean Universities for Sustainable Development, will hold an international meeting on the “The Sustainable/Green University in a time of crisis”.
Drin dreams to deeds: A defining step towards a Shared Vision for the Management of the Drin River Basin
On 25 November 2011 in Tirana the five Drin River Riparians signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on a Shared Strategic Vision for the Sustainable Management of the Drin River Basin to protect the shared water resources.
MIO-ECSDE “raised the bar” at the 20th Anniversary of GEF
Along with 300 other participants involved in the GEF International Waters (IW) portfolio of projects, MIO-ECSDE staff attended a four-day conference, held in Dubrovnik, Croatia, 17-20 October 2011.
