The Mediterranean Information Office for Environment, Culture & Sustainable Development (MIO-ECSDE) announces the present Call for Offers for services for “Testing and validating best practice solutions to address riverine plastic litter” in Alfeios River, Greece.
The call is carried out within the context of the Interreg IPA ADRION funded project TETHYS4ADRION. The assignment concerns the design, implementation and monitoring of a pilot agricultural plastic waste management scheme in the Alfeios River area, aimed at improving the collection, management and environmentally sound treatment of agricultural plastics and reducing plastic leakage into rivers and surrounding environments.

The deadline for submission of offers is set to be 9 October 2026, at 17:00 h Athens time.
The successful candidate will be informed within 10 days following the submission deadline and will be invited to sign a contract for the implementation of the services.
