MIO-ECSDE joins the “Let’s do it” campaign in Thesprotia: Two days of voluntary marine litter cleaning activities
As part of the international campaign “Let’s do it” cleanup activities were organized in Thesprotia jointly by the municipality of Igoumenitsa, the Management Body of the Straits and Estuaries of Kalama and Acherontas rivers, the Mediterranean Information Office for Environment, Culture and Sustainable Development (MIO-ECSDE) and NGO Pelorus.

International recognition of the Non Conventional Water Resources Program in the Mediterranean
GWP-Med’s Non Conventional Water Resources (NCWR) Program in the Mediterranean, has been selected among 9 Global Finalists of the World Water Showcase Challenge organized by the 7th World Water Forum (7WWF). MIO-ECSDE/MEdIES provides the Education for Sustainable Development component (activities and materials reached out to more than 11,000 students and 2,000 teachers).
MIO-ECSDE advances the discussions on marine litter solutions in the Mediterranean
