LEGAMBIENTE, a long-standing member of MIO-ECSDE, will host the final event of the Erasmus+ Physical & Augmented Reality for Climate Change Education (PARCEE) project on 12–13 October 2026 in Rome and Grosseto, Italy.
The two-day event will showcase the project’s achievements, innovative educational approaches and practical resources developed over the past three years to strengthen Climate Change Education through traditional and augmented reality methodologies.
The programme includes:
- Final Press Conference (12 October, Rome), presenting the project’s key outcomes, educational resources and innovative methodologies. The event will be held in English, Italian and Arabic.
- Final Dissemination Seminar (13 October, Grosseto), bringing together educators, schools, stakeholders and project partners to exchange experiences and explore the PARCCE educational methodology, including the presentation of a toolkit featuring 26 ready-to-use educational activities in four languages and two self-paced online courses.
Both events are open for in-person and online participation. Led by MIO-ECSDE/MEdIES, PARCCE is a three-year Erasmus+ project that promotes Climate Change Education across the Mediterranean. By combining traditional educational approaches with innovative Augmented Reality technologies, the project develops and tests engaging learning resources, strengthens teachers’ capacities, and fosters critical thinking, collaboration and climate literacy among students. The project brings together partners from Greece, Cyprus, Italy and France.
