A joint position paper has been prepared and signed by 19 regional NGOs with some suggestions on the Maritime Spatial Planning (MSP) of the European Union. The position paper was signed by the regional NGOs
In the period of 22.02.2011 to 22.04.2011, the European Commission launched a public consultation on a Roadmap for a resource-efficient Europe, as part of the resource-efficient Europe Flagship Initiative of the Europe 2020 Strategy.
In the period of 25.08.2010 to 22.10.2010, the European Commission launched a public consultation on “Protecting our natural capital: an EU strategy to conserve biodiversity and ensure the provision of ecosystem services by 2020”.
MIO-ECSDE jointly with 45 other NGOs from Europe, USA, South America and Asia submitted their recommendations in response to the European Commission’s consultation on the definition of nanomaterials.
A letter with some suggestions on nanomaterials in food was sent to the Environment Committee MEPs in view of the 2nd reading vote on the amendments to the Council position on the Regulation on Novel Foods to take place on the 4th of May 2010.
