Celebrating National Environmental Day in Lattakia, Syria

On the occasion of the National Environmental day – 1st November 2019 – the Syrian Coast Society for Environmental Protection (SCSEP) organized a cleaning campaign “Together towards a better environment” in the center of Lattakia City in partnership with civil society youth organizations and representatives from the public and private sectors. The campaign aimed to sensitize the participants on the necessity of environmental protection and sustainable development in Syria and the Mediterranean region.

SCSEP received a certificate of appreciation from the municipal council of Lattakia for the role it plays in protecting the environment and promoting sustainable development in both the Syrian coast and the Mediterranean region.
