Window for Environment promotes waste prevention

On the occasion of World Environment Day, the Window for Environment, a MIO-ECSDE member organization based in Beirut, in partnership with the Citizenship Ambassadors Association (ADLC) and the Arab Network for Environment and Development (RAED), founding MIO-ECSDE member, targeted a common behavioral practice in Lebanon: throwing rubbish from car windows rather than disposing of it properly in bins.

In light of this, on the 10th of June 2023, the organization distributed to passing cars awareness leaflets on the dangers of mismanaged plastic and other types of waste. They did so in the capital’s main squares, gas stations, and marinas.
