Focused on building a sustainable economy and infrastructure, BDF works to improve residents’ quality of life while attracting global visitors of all denominations.
Vamos Todos: An ecotourism NGO founded in 2006 in Lebanon, Vamos Todos promotes sustainable development and responsible tourism, with a focus on preserving the natural heritage and benefiting local communities. The organization fosters hiking and nature-based activities while working to create and restore trails. Vamos Todos is UNEP-accredited and collaborates with national and international NGOs to raise awareness about environmental conservation, sustainable tourism practices, and the protection of Lebanon’s natural resources.
Cedars for Care (CFC): Founded in 1998 in Beirut, Lebanon, CFC is dedicated to promoting self-sufficiency and resilience within communities by addressing socio-economic and environmental challenges. The organization advocates for socio-economic reforms, empowers civil society, and works to alleviate poverty through education, sustainable development and humanitarian aid. CFC also focuses on biodiversity conservation, sustainable agriculture, and fostering collaboration among stakeholders to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
IndyACT: Established in 2007 in Lebanon, IndyACT is a non-political coalition of changemakers dedicated to driving environmental, social, and cultural transformation. The organization tackles critical global issues like climate change, circular economy practices, and marine conservation, and promotes sustainable green economy solutions. The four new members share a strong commitment to environmental protection, cultural heritage conservation, and sustainable development.
