MIO-ECSDE proudly participated as a key partner in the EnviroMORE Festival, held on 30–31 January 2026 at the Goethe‑Institut in Cairo, Egypt. The event brought together young environmental innovators, educators, community leaders, and project partners to celebrate the achievements of the Be2aty / My Environment project over the past three years and mark its official conclusion by March 2026.

Across two full days, the festival offered a rich programme of interactive workshops, exhibitions of youth-led projects, panel discussions, guided tours, and creative activities designed to inspire action for a more sustainable future. More than 250 participants engaged with the diverse activities, which showcased the ideas, solutions and creativity of young people who have been involved in the project’s journey.

As part of the project, MIO-ECSDE played an active and visible role in helping to empower Egyptian youth to become agents of change for a sustainable development. Through outreach, facilitation, mentoring and capacity-building activities during the project’s lifespan, MIO-ECSDE contributed to strengthening youth leadership and environmental awareness in local communities.

The EnviroMORE Festival also provided an opportunity to bring together stakeholders and partners from many different sectors to reflect on the project’s achievements, learn from the youth-led prototypes and ideas that emerged from the Be2aty bootcamps and activities, and imagine how these can continue to ripple out into communities beyond the end of the project.
