Call for application for e-learning course on Management of MAB Biosphere Reserves and other designated areas

MIO-ECSDE/MEdIES calls for applications for a 4-week long e-learning course entitled “Management of MAB Biosphere Reserves (BRs) and other designated areas”.

The e-course has been built on one of the eight chapters of the UNESCO publication: “Education for Sustainable Development in Biospheres Reserves and other Designated Areas: A Resource Book for Educators in South-Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean” .

This is the first e-learning course run by MIO-ECSDE / MEdIES, which will be used as a pilot for future courses.

In a nutshell

Target group: Junior environmental managers, ESD educators, University students etc. from the Euro-Mediterranean region
Costs: There are no fees as MIO-ECSDE provides a scholarship to all selected participants
Participants: 12-25
Language: English
E-learning model: a-synchronous
Expected workload: 10-12 hours per week
Dates: The 4 week long course will run from Monday 25/03/2013 to Sunday 21/04/2013
